Designing Resilient Communities: Food 4 Future

Project: Designing Resilient Communities: Food 4 Future.
Date: 23/09 - 17/10 2019

The aim of this project was to identify: a community-based issue or topic that you are passionate about. This assessment is about using your agency as a designer to raise awareness of this issue.

The community this product is designed to target is people who eat meat and are trying to be environmentally friendly, but not willing to make the commitment to cutting out meat completely, whether that be for health or personal reasons.

This project is also designed to appeal to market goers, as this project includes a food truck which will be present at artist/vendor markets across the mid-north coast.

The idea of this campaign is that a food truck will visit various community markets across the mid-north coast. The truck will sell plant-based burgers with an infomational booklet included, with information about cattle farming and its link to climate change. As well as a recipe for mushroom and quinoa burgers.
