Aura Vindex (Species) - Original Character

This is my oc, named the: Aura Vindex. It is a hunter like animal. This one is based on a Wolf, Lion and Black Panther. He has a skull like head with small eyes and pointy ears. I gave it a mane like a lion. The black color was inspired by a black panther. It also has a long furry tail, with a long thuck coat all over it's body. It has strong front legs and claws, to hold and kill prey.

Concept Sketch

I came with this idea through my internship at the zoo. Every day i would walk past the lions and panthers. So that's how the idea popped into my mind. But i always wanted to create a character with a mane. I mainly took the anatomy of a lion and the colors of a black panther. And it's behaviour is more like a wolf. 

Biography:

The Aura Vindex are lion like species, that live and hunt in a pack. A pack usually consists out of a male, female and their offspring, if they have them. A pair connects with it's partner through their Aura. They are very loyal creatures to their partner. 

The aura vindex is a generalist hypercarnivore and they are apex and keystone predators.

The aura vindex has a average height between the 5.5 to 6.5 feet.

Their is almost no difference between male and female. (A male might be a litter bigger then a female, but not always) More info will follow!
