Visual Communications Final Architect Poster- Sophomore Year
I was tasked with researching an Architect and building a poster for a lecture he would hypothetically be giving. Within the poster I had to understand the architects style, and then reflect said style within the
poster without directly referencing any of his buildings. My architect for this project is Santiago Calatrava, he has very eccentric and clean buildings and has worked on some of the most expensive architecture projects of this time. I really tried to encompass his detailed work with my play with lines, and the main shapes I used
as a motif in poster are something reminiscent of one his most popular buildings, the Auditoro de
Tenerife in the Canary Islands.
