Essential School Supply Campaign for Conair.

Advanced Photo Fall 2017

Objective- To create an impactful image of students at school using Conair Hair Products.

Playing on the idea that “Hair Supplies” are the priority over “school supplies”.

Audience - Tweens and Teens

Assignment- 

You will have next Monday and Wednesday to do the shoot.  Don’t forget your camera and other accessories.  This will be your only chance to do this shoot.

You may use a variety of spaces to shoot in including the Cafe, room 07, room 148, room 348, room 151 (and others to be announced). 

You may need to ask friends to model.  Maybe kids in Cafe and Study Halls can assist.  Don’t be afraid to ask.

My expectation is that your finished product  looks like a shot from a commercial.

You will need to create a plan and have a vision ahead of time. 

You will probably need a tripod and possibly some lights.  You can get these in room 31 or 06. 

There should be a variety of images that result from this shoot.  Shoot some wide angle, some closer up, varied perspective…. But only one of your images will be considered  “the best” and the “final”!

Use my guidelines but always put a “twist of you” into your work.  I may have some good ideas, but you may have some better ones.

I have emailed my contact at Conair and informed her of this assignment.  We will need model releases from the students that you use if the photo gets published on any social media site.

You will organize and edit the final product in Adobe Lightroom or Adobe Photoshop

You will print a 13x19 inch print.

You will place 5 of your best images from the shoot including your finished product in Google Classroom (Conair- Essential School Supplies) Assignment Folder.
