-BRIEF-
Design No.Stop is an initiative of teachers and students of design at the Politecnico of Milan. The aim is to express the disagreement with the bill Gelmini and his changes to our Italian University in an alternative way. The results were workshops on planning for the future of the University.
Design No.Stop published a design contest, open to all university students, for the realization of  postcards on the future of public university, the Next Univesity. From protest to activism for a better university, is the catchphrase of the initiative. The postcards must be realized in A6 format and can be digital or analogical.
-PROJECT-
The aim of our project was to make a silent and visual protest with a Flash Mob where anyone can express his disappointment. The concept is to show the condition of the university students after the approval of the Gelmini Law: only riches people could study. So we put ourselves in a street, like tramps, asking money for the tuition, like we weren't "rich enough". We've took photos of us protesting and use them for the postcard, to show how the Flash Mob will work. The slogan we've used on the card sais: "on friday 08.10.2010, at 3.30pm, make your own poster, chose your own sidewalk, protest against Gelmini Project. In Milan, Bologna, Rome."
We chose the Flash Mob movement because it's something new and most-inflated, a new fashion in these times, to gain a lot of partecipants.
