The purpose of this project was to develop a series of four poster calendars utilizing different image and typography relationships: separation, fusion, fragmentation and inversion.
Inspiration came from black and white photogrpahy I shot while in New York City.
Separation: typography and imagergy retain clear level of autonomy
Fusion: type and imagergy merge
Fragmentation: type and imagergy disrupt one another
Inversion: type is portrayed as part of the image; part of the type is built from the image
