Prototyping a Dashboard of Notifications & Calculator

In the videos below I demonstrate specific use-cases in a prototype I built using Axure 7 and Sketch. The target audience included loan servicers in various independent sales organizations. These "partners" needed a place to track and expedite their work of ushering a loan from pre-qualification, to application, verification, underwriting and, finally, funding. Prior to building this product partners used telephones and email to manage their work. As a result, a "Notes" panel is included with every notice and accessible through the status bar. These notes constitute a history of the loan's evolution as they provide partners a means to transition to using the portal.

A loan may have multiple "statuses" or updates in its progress toward approving or denying funding. All status updates appear in the Dashboard of Notifications listed in reverse chronological order with the name of the merchant left-aligned above the status type, followed by an applicant's ID and a date-stamp.

Two UX designers preceded me on this project. I took their happy designs yet had to modify them once interaction design arrived on the scene. I prefer to jump right into prototyping, especially in lean UX teams. Thankfully, my predecessors worked within the constraints of marketing's style guides and gave me a bounty of wireframes in, as it happened, Balsamiq. After I had the liberty and the software, I ported and/or re-drew and re-designed everything in Axure.

And so began the biggest and best adventure I have ever had in prototyping with Axure.
In the video below we explore an actionable panel which allows a partner to upload documentation necessary to complete the loan application.
Next we have the 'simple calculator'. When the loan is approved a specific offer is given with the maximum term (or duration) of the loan and the maximum loan amount allowed. Partners often need to adjust this offer for the applicant and will use this calculator often.
The video below is an abridged version of a much fuller exposition of the multi-options calculator. A complete version is forthcoming.
