Mine

Packaging

Mine' is a white and sparkling wine, a top of the range wine made following the traditional champenoise method with edible 24 carat gold flakes. This wine has been made to be sold in the German, French and British market. The project needed a valid "naming" for all these markets. On the one hand, the word "mine" has got the same meaning in all the languages spoken in these markets, as it can be denned as a gold mine. On the other hand, it is also a possessive pronoun that refers to the possession of a precious good, something special to be shared only with special people and on a very special occasion. The label pretends to do the same thing too. It pretends to wrap the bottle as though it is a symbol of possession or closure.
