Hello friends!

I want to share with you the process behind creation of my first picture book! This project has been made as a part of my mentorship program with ITSme International Talent Search. The picture book is based on the novel written by Grace Lin.

The story tells about a young girl named Minli, who spends her days working hard in the fields and her nights listening to her father spin fantastic tales about the Jade Dragon and the Old Man of the Moon. Minli believes these enchanting stories and embarks on an extraordinary journey to find the Old Man of the Moon and ask him how her family can change their fortune. She encounters an assorted cast of characters and magical creatures along the way, including a dragon who accompanies her on her quest.

I liked working on the book so much! I hope that it is just the beginning of my career as a children's book illustrator!
