A wild tea brand appeared! It’s Fifth Ray!
There are many upsides to my Start-up Product Photography Package. One is enabling me to remain accessible to start-ups with smaller projects and budgets while I chase larger clients. One such fine example is Fifth Ray. Creators of Cosmic Hue, a plant tea super blend that supports gut health, energy and mood. As I often reflect, working with start-ups alone is its own challenge, as I ramble in more detail about here. Fortunately, this project is a shining example of correctly applied experience from working with businesses at similar stages of development. Alexa, tick ‘Grow as a creative’ off my to-do list for today. And then add it back again tomorrow; I can’t be getting complacent.
This Product Photography is Going to Take Some Creativi-TEA.
Packaged in a metallic, colourful gradient pouch, I knew immediately I’d have some work to go keeping the colours consistent. Included within the pouch alongside loose leaf tea is a translucent reusable linen tea bag and plastic scoop. These all needed to be displayed for the purposes of the brand’s Product Display Page (PDP).
This project gave me the vibes of a nice crossover of two of my favourite clients: Space Goods and Teapigs. As per the limitations of the aforementioned package, my resources for this project were minimal. But, restriction breeds creativity, and I always find myself enjoying the stripped-back approach to composing my work. I was left to find a suitable yellow hue to compliment the packaging, and chose one that complimented the purple hues in particular.
