WORK IN PROGRESS - Final installment of the "ISHTAR" collection.

This piece is set to be the largest among the four in the collection. I am currently immersed in the creation of the central figure using oil paint, infusing it with rich symbolism and concealed messages. The artwork will captivate viewers as the gaze of the figure pierces through their souls, drawing inspiration from ancient Babylonian art and a dilapidated wall ruin.

To enhance the piece, I plan to use microcement to meticulously craft and carve the wall behind her, resembling the Wheel of Fortune. Additionally, I intend to incorporate a blend of Cuneiform and Kufic scripts to convey the essence of her creation and the era of her preservation.

This particular piece holds profound personal significance for me. It has served as my savior, guiding me through intense shadow work and acting as an anchor to the joyful and healthy place I know exists within me.
