This is an Illustation of a sustained airport facility which depicts the airside and landside areas of the airport. Airport Sustainability is a branch of engineering which deals with design & construction of airports which has no impacts on the environment. 

 

The landside facilities includes passenger terminal, visitor waiting areas, parking spaces, greenery farms and connecting roads etc. 

 

The airside areas includes aircraft aprons,  aircraft stands, sky bridge, helipad,  main runway and its markings, taxiways and its markings, FBO/ MRO, cargo areas, ATC Tower/ Building, ILS Tower(s), Glidescope, Approach Lightings, fire and rescue department, Oil Farms, office buildings and aircraft service vehicles etc.
