This is my attempt at using AI-assisted design practice, which greatly helped me address the challenge of creating brand designs while struggling with copywriting. I asked ChatGPT to generate a virtual chocolate brand for me, including the brand name, brand concept, and even the specific flavor profiles. Through several interactions, I received highly satisfying results. Building upon that, I proceeded with simple brand and packaging design. Later on, I used Midjourney to generate virtual product photos of the chocolates for designing promotional images on Instagram.

Wildcard Chocolate Co. is dedicated to embracing risks and exploring new horizons. Our chocolates are crafted with inspiration from the unexpected, aiming to astonish and enchant even the most daring chocolate enthusiasts. Our creations are far from ordinary, offering a tantalizing journey of flavors. From the intriguing blend of dark chocolate with orange and cardamom to the captivating fusion of white chocolate with earl grey tea and lemon, each bite is an adventure in itself. In addition, we proudly present a selection of limited edition and seasonal chocolates that consistently deliver surprises and exquisite taste. Our slogan, "Expect the unexpected," not only applies to our chocolates but also serves as a testament to our passion for embracing life's wonders.

In the logo design, I replaced the letter "i" in "Wildcard" with an inverted question mark, signaling to consumers that this is an unexpected brand. As for why the question mark is inverted, I believe it is inherently part of the unexpectedness. The brand's colors primarily consist of black and white, exuding an air of mysterious reserve, while the products themselves are vibrant, resembling those serendipitous surprises in life. Additionally, I incorporated a similar concept in both the packaging design and the treatment of the slogan. Instead of emphasizing the chocolate's flavor descriptions on the packaging, I focused on summarizing the sensory experience of the chocolate. The pattern elements also feature abstract representations of the ingredients, allowing you to identify the significance of each graphic in relation to the flavor names. The slogan extends to the back of the packaging in an equally unexpected manner.
