- The Mountain of Time Passing
The continuity of the movement of matter reflects the passage of time. Flowing clocks and moving images are common ways in which we perceive and record the passage of time. It seems that only dynamic or three-dimensional forms can represent or record the passage of time, whereas static two-dimensional methods, such as photography, can only record a point in time and not the dynamic state of the passage of time. This project explores the use of two two-dimensional art forms,cyanotype and collage, to represent the passage of time.
