EBANX Beyond Borders 2021
Beyond Borders is EBANX's annual study on digital commerce, payments and consumer behaviour in Latin America. This edition highlights Latin America as a hypergrowth market, pushed by smartphone penetration and new digital payment methods, growing at about 30% per year through 2025. LatAm has become a vital battleground for global and local players, with global titans expanding to the region and the streaming market becoming the second-fastest growing in the world. Meanwhile, Brazil’s instant payment Pix is leading the charge in digital payments revolution, transforming Latin Americans’ relationship with e-commerce and creating a race in terms of better shopping experiences.
