The notion that Indian women are "required" to act in a particular manner, and dress in a particular way that society means culture. The same goes for the elegant 6 yard fabric that holds to together thousands of years of legacy and culture. We a as a society has a mental image what a women wearing a saree would act and say. Breaking that image as an individual, a women who chooses her life to live her free life. The way she fashions herself is the portrayal.
