Tile #1: For this tile I chose to go with a simple design because this was our first tile. For the middle piece I got inspiration from the rolling stones logo. And then I added the lines coming out and the kites in the corners to have some interweaving between the tiles. Even though how simple it was I'm still happy because it was a good starting point.

Tile #2: For this tile I tried to go with a more complex design to match the criteria. I tried to incorporate lots of elements at the same time but trying not to overcrowd the tile. I started with the X shape and then added all the elements in as you can see in the step-by-step below. Overall, this tile I think was some of my best work on illustrator so far and I'm super happy with how it came out.
