Australian Bush Spices is the exploration of Sydney’s Ryan Maritz and partner Jo, a former restauranteur who has dedicated the past 9 years to exploring the rich and bold textures and flavours of the Australian landscape. Matilda Wilson Creative were tasked with the rebrand of the business, with the primary purpose of properly aligning the brands packaging and communications with its top end quality of products.
Matilda Wilson Creative were responsible for the art direction of the brand, branding development, print media and packaging design. Working collaboratively with Ryan and Jo as well as our illustrator Max, we developed a bespoke range of 8 packaging outcomes, each identified by their own unique illustrative ingredients and bold colour schematic.
Previously the brand had utilised colour coding as a way in which to determine the use of each product, we have continued this across in a modernised manner to resonate with the existing client base.
