The idea of being able to speak your mind and being heard is so powerful and yet so simple. We love Clubhouse* for offering it to everyone around the world. We got so touched by it that we came up with a visual identity concept for the app. Our concept brings out the main two aspects within Clubhouse. A microphone that symbolizes speaking up and a headphone that denotes listening.
*Clubhouse is a voice-only app for iPhone where you can create or join ‘rooms’ and interact with other users. You can sign up for an account and reserve a handle but, as the app is currently in beta, you have to wait for an invite from another user to actively be able to join.
With an invite you can either drop-in on conversations or discuss and share ideas on everything and anything that has caught your interest. Celebrities such as Oprah and Elon Musk have used the app but one of the many benefits of the app is that anyone is able to host their own room, public or private, making the app suitable for both an intimate chat with a few friends or for public debate.
