Starbucks Pride Campaign

I got the once in a lifetime chance to work on the Starbucks Pride project with a stellar team of Starbucks partners, to celebrate 50 years since the Stonewall Riots, along with intersectionality, inclusion and personal stories around Pride, in the setting of ‘the third place.’ It was by far one of the most meaningful projects I’ve ever gotten to work with a big brand on.
Portraits of Starbucks Partners who bravely shared their stories about identity,
friendship, and hardships, centered around Pride.

Above left: GIPHY stickers for the campaign, searchable on Instagram under “starbucks pride.”
Above right: Also, an animated transformation of a man named Derrick turning into his drag alter ego, Dolly.
Above left: This is the Pride Siren, used in Starbucks’ Instagram Stories as well as their Twitter avatar for the month of June.
Above right: I helped design downloadable print-your-own-signs for the nationwide Pride March (fists illustration & “we matter”)
