Shooting underwater has always been my dream. Immersing yourself into another space, you can feel remoteness from reality for a little while, almost like a mini vacation or a lucid dream :)

Everything slows down, distorts and, as if automatically becomes fluid and magical. But this force of nature obeys you only when you follow its rules.

This is a real challenge for the photographer as well as the model –  it is much more difficult to control the process, but improvisation can be unpredictably beautiful. The main thing is not take a breath because of excitement before you emerge!

Every time I worry about how the model feels underwater, whether they will be able to deal with fear and pose. Controlling facial expressions and gestures without air is quite a task. But Olya sincerely surprised and made me happy. She was not only able to adapt quickly, but also she easily improvised. In addition, all movements were flexible and emotions were natural. Press like if you agree.

PS: I will write more about the technical aspects of underwater photography soon!
