Graphic Designer / Production Artist
Job Description:
Looking for experienced Graphic Designers / Production Artists to do large scale print signage layout for a sizable creative conference. Candidates should have experience designing in Adobe Illustrator and have proficient knowledge in print production layout. Adobe Photoshop will also be utilized, candidates should have a deep understanding on how ‘layers’ work inside of the software. Technical knowledge in cloud based storage and files synchronization will be required as assets will be designed and uploaded directly into the cloud (Google Drive / Dropbox). The preferred candidate is someone who has a high attention to detail, advanced understanding of folder hierarchies, production structures, and graphic design knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Graphic design and layout of medium and large format print signage utilizing Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Google Cloud Services.
Qualifications:
Experience working with creative agencies and production houses on creative campaigns
Ability to communicate and deal effectively with diverse individuals in a professional manner
A minimum of three (3) years of professional design experience, with a proven track record in a design role
Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals
Strong command of color theory, image composition, layout principles and typography
Strong eye for visual composition
Ability to deliver production-ready assets in a wide variety of formats
Advanced experience in the Adobe Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Experience working with cloud based storage platforms (Dropbox, Google Drive)
Knowledge of print requirements
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying ideas and concepts to non-design stakeholders
Excellent time-management skills and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent leadership qualities and project management ability
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to design
