Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Webtoon Compositor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to enhance scenes thoughtfully, creating immersive visuals that captivate readers. As a Webtoon Compositor, you will collaborate closely with our production team to integrate 2D/3D elements into 2D scenes, ensuring proper placement in the foreground and background. We value knowing when to apply visual effects effectively, rather than focusing on extravagant effects.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate 2D/3D elements into 2D scenes, understanding their placement in the foreground and background.
- Enhance scenes thoughtfully, considering the setting and aiming for immersive visuals.
- Work closely with the production team to achieve the desired visual style for each project.
- Ensure proper contrast and color grading in all compositions.
- Collaborate with other artists and team members to maintain consistency in visual style.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a 2D/3D Compositor, preferably in webtoon or animation projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard compositing/drawing software. (Nuke, Blender, Clip Studio Paint, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
- Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to enhance storytelling through visual effects.
- Creative mindset with an understanding of webtoon aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
