I'm a Singaporean Chinese, but the complexity in the funerals of the Chinese have always stumped me as there are just so many rules and regulations.

 

After half a year of finding out as much as I could from books, interviews with locals on their own experiences in funerals, and even funeral directors, I came up with a process of funerals events.

 

Chinese Funerals are incredibly complex and vary depending on the dialect group, the spiritual beliefs, and even the demands of the seniority within the family unit on what has to be done.
