It is not the most amazing or spectacular views of the city that define our experiences and perception of an urban area, it is the fragmentary stories and the small elements, the little simple daily experiences that make up the city portrait.
The project explores ways of representing cities. It focuses on one hand on the way that one city can be represented individually; on the relation between, daily city experiences, the dynamics of the city and the possibility of representing the urban areas and creating a fragmentary portrait through the lenses of the camera and through sound-recordings.
