The brand that made a confetti-colored confection the quintessential cake of birthday parties, has confirmed rumors that the iconic cake mix will be transformed into a cartoon series, hitting TV this summer.
Funfetti Adventures: Ready to Decorate! follows an adorable, magical young girl named Sweetsie Candycream as she goes on new adventures with Doughboy in the land of Funfettopia. The show features a curriculum with creative cooking and baking, social-emotional lessons that highlight kindness and gratitude skills that are designed to educate preschoolers with simple stories. Sweetsie and her friends take pride in serving up magical sweet treats to the residents in their community. Their special magic powers, their enchanted wands and the team’s can-do spirit all combine to make the best birthday parties ever!
The animation studio responsible for this was in London England, where we spent around two weeks. It's been an amazing experience. We worked alongside the show's creators and Software Developers. Pillsbury took care of everything, from the 3d rendering, the storyboards, the characters, the music, the typography, to the voice acting.
