This project is to create a space which is inspired from our life, and built a model based on our understanding of tectonic structure, to show your space. My design concept is eagle wing, I study the structure of eagle’s wings and the body of eagle. My project named "freedom".
The first model I made was to rigid and heavy, my idea was using eagle wings to be my shelter.
The frame structure are too busy, it did not show my concept well.
To make my design more organic, I learnt the shape of eagles body, how to connect them together, how to make them looks more elegant.
My final model looks simple and organic.
It is two storey building, first storey is café, second storey is a balcony, for people to look at scenery.
