This set of work is framed by two Chinese characters “平” and “面” and they are integrated with “suit” and “decoration” respectively, revealing the different effects caused by the cultural difference between the east and the west. The purpose for my work is to explain the importance which the culture is to Planar Design. The planar works should possess particular features and infectivity if they are nourished by culture, because they can appeal to more groups which share the same culture.
