HiDesign, also known as "Hide Sign", was started by Dilip Kapur in 1978, and has since stood as a pioneer for high-quality leather products. It aims to stay true to its strong heritage of craftsmanship, authenticity, and innovative design. An environmentally conscious company, HiDesign emphasizes eco-friendly traditions that maximise vegetable tanning, and wax and oil-based treatments. The brand is a leading researcher in the ecological use of vegetable tanned leathers for its goods. HiDesign's portfolio boasts of an impressively wide variety of products. Ranging from briefcases, personal accessories, bags, garments, shoes, to an exclusive collection of desktop stationery and accessories, HiDesign's remarkable catalogue speaks for itself.
HiDesign has over hundred outlets in the country and hence the majority of their business is conducted offline. There isn't a lot of focus on the website as it has less traffic and there is no mobile application as of now. The brand has a niche audience and mostly appeals to the financially stabler echelons of society. Regular service aside, HiDesign also provides a premium plan for its customers that offers them an advantage in terms of extended product warranty and some added service benefits. TEXTURE PALETTE
The logo is made of two parts - the symbol of a bull's head, and the brand name in text.
Designed internally within the marketing team, the logo earlier consisted of the words HIDE and DESIGN stacked vertically, such that the alphabets "D" & "E" were shared in common, and had a shadow representation. It was known as two different names.
First was HiDesign, which means the design of great leather. The second was Hide Sign, which stood for a sign of strong leather.
