Nice to Meet
Networking is hard, but following up is harder. Nice to Meet is an app that makes it easy for you to do both. Save someone’s contact information and auto-schedule a follow up email, making it a breeze for you to continue the conversation and collaborate with that new person. Nice to Meet is available on both iOS and Android, and was featured in the App Store under “Apps We Love Right Now” in January 2020. I co-created the app with Ilya Usorov.
The branding imitates the friendly nature of the app itself — connecting with people. It uses a vibrant and cheerful color palette, simple understated iconography and illustration that reference emojis. A humanist and legible typeface was selected for a more enjoyable viewing experience.
The user interface design is understated and clear, allowing the user to easily navigate its features. The app differentiates itself with the requirement to schedule a follow up email for new connections within 1–3 days of meeting, helping users remove the friction of following up with the people they meet.
