Atheism | Typographical Project

This project that began in late May was based around the idea of designing a typographical poster that would help display a literal-narrative for the word “Atheism”, by the way of a visual style that combines minimalism and simplicity together.

As you will see, the final outcome consists of the phrase being displayed in a bold sans-serif font, with the letter “t” taking on the form of a Christian cross that has been removed from the rest of the word, as this helps signify a feeling of dismissal that is identical to the dismissal itself that any form of god or higher power exists.

To help push the overall depth of design that little bit further, I decided to include a grain texture in order to help push away from a look that would appear too flat and too polished for my own personal liking.
