Mar is a talented Dutch soul/rnb singer produced by Full Crate and under the wing of our friend and blogger Nalden. They came to us with the idea of Mar Variations – a monthly series of interpretation of other artists songs from Lil’ Wayne to Wham – and asked us for a visual interpretation of the project. We developed a typeface and graphic style composed of simple shapes to reflect the back to basics approach to the project.
