Blitz Brewing Co. is a new brewing company based in Netherlands, founded by Daan Visser, a young but experienced brewer. After years of working in other breweries he founded himself brewing beer styles that he doesn't like, so he decided to start on his own beer company. Blitz won't be making beers for the masses...they will be brewing bold, complex and outstanding craft beer with the focus on beer geek scene.
My task in this project was to design a set of logos, biz card, coasters, t shirts and beer labels.
For the logo, client envisioned simple and bold letters. Daan is an adrenaline junkie, his hobbies are kite-surfing and motor biking. As "Blitz" means lightning on German I've connected Daan's adventurous spirit with the brand name and came up
with the lettering.
Since lightning is best seen when in dark we decided to go with a classic black and white for the main brand colors.
For the labels I trued to break my boundaries and experiment with a different style of illustration by using simple shapes,
clean and bold lines.
