My book. I made this.
When I started creating some fresh ideas for my portfolio, the creative ambition became a curse. Every time I thought I had come up with just the right idea, another one presented itself. Before I knew it, there were a hundred and one ideas sitting in front of me. And several hundred more in the wastepaper basket...
Without realising it I had found myself at the centre af a copywriter’s version of the tale of One Thousand And One Nights. So I decided to share my story with future employers in this neat little book.

It was printed using risograph technology by art book specialists Victory Press, and I did the binding myself at the London Centre for Book Arts.
The title and spine details are foil-blocked by hand. By my hand, in fact.
The interior is printed in two colors - red for the "story" and black for the 101 ideas
Some of the ideas are sensible, some less so.
Working on something crafty in a studio was fun, and holding the finished product in you hands was amazing. But after a solid day of just folding pages, I made the promise to myself:
For those of you who are interested in such things, the book is printed on 120 gsm recycled paper from the London-based company Paperback.
