No. 27 Honeymoon In Paris
Day 27 of my quarantine graphic series. I try to be quick on creating these and challenge myself to find, fix, edit and go. This one took me a while to find the foundation of the layout, and I traded the image of the Arc for a number of other options. I finally settled here and decided to play with the arch shape as a highlight for the pieces on the right side of the composition. It was a deliberate approach to make the vehicle and other beach items look haphazardly placed among the vintage Paris road scene – to some success, they turned out to be close to what I had in mind.
The base images for this composition have all come from Unsplash.com, a great FREE resource for imagery if you are not familiar with it. Venturing on surrealism, this is the twenty-seventh collage in the hopeful 30 day series - it's getting close to the end!
