I found this magnificent calendar of 2014 in the trash in 2016. It is A2 and each page is a different kind of heavy paper and has coloured print of a seashell. I imagine it must have functioned as a sampler. In 2017 I started drawing in it with the aim of posting one drawing every month, which proved impossible to do alongside the rest of my work and raising a tiny baby. The lockdown offered a great opportunity to make a few more drawings on it. I Perhaps because of the big black circle it has in the centre of each page, it always reminds me of a music album cover. If I made music this would be my cover artwork. Maybe, for the same reason, I find that each drawing has a musical quality in it.
