3D Studio Max Test Animations

3D Studio Max Test Animations

This work was done as part of my Multimedia course I taught at the high school level. The goal of the course was to introduce students to the basic tools and features of Autodesk 3D Studio Max, storyborading, and the principles of animation. Below are examples that I and a student, that had previous animation experience, created and used for the class.
The first project for the course was to introduce students to the 3D Studio Max program and how to edit 3D models along with basic animation. This was done by having students create a "duck" out of basic geometric shapes along with simple movements and a background scene.
Another project for the course was for students to learn about the 12 principles of animation along with more advanced animation techniques. This was done by having students create an object with exaggerated movement along with timed sound effects.
For this project, students learned about lighting and particle effects. This was done by having students create a scene with rain, snow, or other types of particles along with more advanced lighting tools to create a more "realistic" scene.
