SLOGAN
The slogan of the games was made to order for the athletes: “Take the Ping Ping challenge for a better you.”
Of course, the repeated ping ping represents Pingtung, but it is also a homonym for pin pin, which means “unceasingly” or “full steam ahead,” and symbolizes athletes continuously training, continuously rising up from defeat, and continuously challenging themselves. The purpose of competing should not only be to win. Instead, it should be about seeking a better self through competition. The message the National High School Athletic Games wants to convey is that you should be proud of yourself no matter where you end up in the standings.

「屏屏」二字不僅代表著「屏東」，也諧音「頻頻」，
「屏屏」二字不僅代表著「屏東」，也諧音「頻頻」，
象徵著運動員不斷地練習、從失敗中站起來，一而再再而三的自我挑戰。
參加比賽的目的，並不只是追求成績，
而是在比賽當中，找尋一個「更好的自己」。
這是全中運想要表達的是，不管你是什麼名次，抑或是沒有名次，
你都應該為自己感到驕傲。

Result
The Games include 15 essential, 2 optional and 1 exhibitory sports, which are held at 20 sites simultaneously. Over 12,000 athletes are expected to participate in the competitions. Meanwhile, sporting sites are located across all towns in Pingtung, allowing more citizen participation.

此次2020年全中運競賽項目共分15項必辦、2項選辦及1項示範項目，同時競賽的20場地，預期參加的各縣市選手將超過1萬2000人以上。亦將分布於全縣各鄉鎮市，讓更多的縣民可以參與。
