Subject - The Crimean War
 
 
I chose The Crimean War as my subject since I wanted to use early examples of photography in my designs, and The Crimean War was one of the first historical events that was heavily photographed.
 
The focus of the project is the fact that The Crimean War is considered to be the first modern war, hence why I have used a very modern, almost futuristic visual language for a historical subject.
