I decided to write an article about my colleges new cafe options. My school recently opened a new place where we could go and get a late night snack on the weekends and I thought it was a really beneficial thing for students to know about especially if they dorm. So I went down when they opened and talked to staff and students to see if I could get a few interviews and pictures regarding the new opening.
This was a picture of Calvin (that I included in the article), a member of staff that works at the Downbeat.
This is a screenshot of my article, I used this to advertise and promote my article on different social media platforms, such as: Instagram (story), and Snapchat. This also helped promote my colleges Mass Communication website.
This was a cellphone soundcheck of the Downbeat opening, showing all the options the students have to go and get food or hang out. A cellphone soundcheck is a 30 second video showing what you are writing your article about.
