Gonjoru by its name means "Panggonan Kerjo Kanggo Lan Turu" or in English"You Can Both Sleep and Work". Just like its name, Gonjoru is designed to become something that facilitate a street worker both sleeping media and work media.

 

The Gonjoru itself targeting for the homeless people in the street, This media hopefully will be distributed for them for free, so they can have two of all human needs which are shelter and works.

 

My Team and I, design the Gonjoru to be only used in one area we call a station. The concept is just like RV Station, The Gonjoru Station is where all of the gonjoru should be park at night. The Area we used is Kranggan District in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

 

We are not classifying Gonjoru as a design product. It is maybe a design product, but it is more than that. 

The way we design the station and the radius of this media and people inside it, we decide it's more like it is a mobile architecture than a product, well maybe both of the criteria.
