Hong Kong 2017: Photography Series

You will now see Hong Kong through my eyes; in all its oriental vintage charm and in this case, monochromatic beauty.

I was there in 2017 during the winter and I remember picking up on many scents as I walked down the street, the meaty and savoury from pig's intestines, the freshly baked egglets and sweet yet earthy aroma from the roasted chestnuts. There was contrast everywhere I went. Newly built corporate and residential buildings stand high and mighty, looking over the people. Down the road or round the corner could be an old corner house, having been through the country's ups and downs and now covered with layers of patina. Hong Kong has so much character and shows it off with pride.

I'll definitely be taking more pictures in many other countries in the future so do look out for that! Also, feel free to leave me a comment on whether you like this photography series or not - thank you!
