4 years ago I had the pleasure to embark in one of the most ambitious projects to date. This project was to achive the protection of 100 islands from Ocean plastic and to use all that plastic to make products. We achived to launch Sunglasses and  Hawaiian shirts, set up a global beach cleaning program and as of today we have 25.000 voluntaries and have cleaned 150 island with a total of 4 million Sqm cleaned. I know, not enough compared to the size of the problem but a real start nevertheless. One of the proud moments,  was  when at the end of 2019, after working on this platform for 4 years, google announced that the most searched word in google was Plastic pollution. This was worth all the effort.

First off we Partnered Corona with Parley for the Oceans, a company that brings people together to talk about the oceans. Through that collaboration we created an Ocean School where we invited the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Diego Luna, MIA and Domenican Republic Actress Nashla. We mixed them with the likes of Ocean conservationist Emily Penn, Dave Hakkens and Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii founder, Kahi. Then we paired them with Surfers  and watermen like Gregg Long, ramon navarro and Zane Schweitzeir. Overall we spent 10 days making sure everyone fell in love with the Oceans for life. During the WSL Corona Jbay 2017 Partnered with key Surfers like Wilko, Jordi Smith, Johanne Defay, Ramon Navarro  and Greg long to raise awareness among the surfing community About the need to protect our Oceans.
