HavServe Education Website

In January of 2010 a 7.0 magnitude earthquake wreaked havoc on Haiti's capital of Port-au-Prince. Since then the impoverished country has yet to fully recover from such a catastrophic event. HavServe was created to support sustainable development, one village at a time, through goal-oriented, volunteer-staffed projects aimed at empowering rural villagers. One of the ways HavServe volunteers work to help address the issues raised in the Millenium Development Goals is to focus their efforts on educating locals via primary, secondary or vocational training. This education based website was designed to help facilitate volunteers on the ground in Haiti.

Design work produced includes UI design and WordPress template modification. This piece was created for the volunteer-driven HavServe Volunteer Service Network, a MD based non-profit working to help improve the lives of Haitians after the devastating earthquake of 2010.
