Creating an Elegant Identity for a Luxury Stone Masonry Brand

Continuing work with a luxury interiors and stonework fabricator J. Rotherham, Whiteroom agency have been tasked to create a new identity to help the brand convey its story, heritage and personality. While celebrating 4 generations of stonemasonry for bathrooms, kitchens and fireplaces, J. Rotherham have decided to add to the existing knowledge and experience in their field, and achieve a more elegant and inspirational look that would better connect with its key audience and increase brand awareness.

Powerful Elegance

I began by researching into the current market and created an identity that portrayed the company’s authenticity and rich history, but also showed a deep passion for current design and interior trends.

From a new minimal logo typeface to chic photography and layout styles, the new identity gained a stronger visual character that has a feel of sophistication and quality. I introduced a new typeface mix of elegant serif headings and minimal sans serif body font with an editorial feel, monochrome colour palette with a classic contrasting shade and additional visual elements that best showcased the precious stone collection.
