do your skincare routine!
this project was created during the covid-19 pandemic. i was in quarantine and thought of a way of reminding people to stay home and take care of themselves
i used these pictures from the internet. did some work on the hand and tried to make it fit in the birth of venus painting. i chose this painting because venus, as the roman goddes of beauty and love, would probably have a skin care routine if she lived amond the millennials. i also really like the way her hair "moves" in the painting, and how a skin care product could easily fit in the composition.
i worked on this option but ended up choosing the other one because the arm being inside the frame makes it feel/look more like venus is actually doing her skin care routine inside her famous birth of venus renaissance painting, rather than looking like someone from the future is cleaning her face
