Career & Professional Development Center Internship Projects

The Career & Professional Development Center (CPDC) is a university department that offers various services to students to help them prepare to acquire and excel in their chosen career fields after graduating. They also organize numerous events and lectures for the students.

The CPDC wanted to create a more unified appearance for many of their documents and needed others updated or changed to a different format, with all of it matching the university’s current branding. To show the wide variety of projects, included here are a flier for students, a template for displaying the by-major results of alumni surveys, a logo for the Internship Center (a branch of the CPDC), and a handbook for the “Career Ambassador” workers in the CPDC office.

Internship Center Logo

The Internship Center wanted to update their logo to more closely match the existing Career & Professional Development Center Logo (see it on the previous two pieces). They also wanted to have a square icon that they could use as a profile picture on social media.

The figure in the icon refers to some of the services that the Internship Center offers for students, including interview coaching and lending students formal wear to help them dress professionally. The internships that it connects students to often have students acting as fully-fledged professionals rather than students and help them to prepare for starting their own careers.
