Los y las niñas migrantes, miles de niños y niñas salen de Venezuela con sus familias o solos, el sueño de un futuro mejor marcado en cada paso, en cada decisión. La situación de Venezuela ha obligado a las familias a separarse, primero emigra el padre o la madre, después poco a poco van saliendo los miembros de la familia, el camino no es fácil, más de 2.500 km de distancia hasta llegar a su nuevo hogar.
H., a sus 5 años de edad, cayó en una caldera llena de brasa de carbón durante su trayecto en Colombia, su tía saltó y logró sacarla quemándose el cuerpo también ella, la desgracia no fue mayor, pero las marcas quedarán por el resto de su vida, la niña quedó marcada con quemaduras de primer grado en sus extremidades y otras partes del cuerpo, presentando principios de atrofia en sus pies y manos por la falta de un tratamiento adecuado para la regeneración de su piel.
Después de 3 meses de permanecer en cuidados intensivos en un hospital en Colombia fue dada de alta, y la familia retoma el viaje para continuar su trayecto hasta Perú. Durante la primera semana de viaje las medias y protectores para cuidar sus quemaduras ya no sirven y no cuentan con recursos para comprar nuevos, poco a poco su cuerpo va teniendo afectaciones a causa de las graves quemaduras, los dolores son fuertes. Ya casi no puede usar sus manos y poco a poco ha ido aumentando la dificultad para caminar, aún quedan 2 semanas para llegar hasta el destino deseado.

After 3 months of staying at a hospital in Colombia in intensive care unit, she was discharged and her family decided to continue the journey, after a week the stockings and that protected her burns were no longer useful and they couldn't afford to buy new ones. Little by little her body is affected by the burns, the pain is strong. She can hardly use her hands anymore and has difficulty to walk, there are still 2 more weeks to get to Peru.
