Čabar, small town but center of area, had a long history of forging. Duke Petar Zrinski dad been built first blast furnace and blacksmith ain 1651.

First pond at river Čabranka had been founded at 1882.

Family Urh had been taken blacksmith at 1935.

Now family Urh, father Branko and son Damir, have a mini hydropower, pond and blacksmith at watterfalls of river Čabranka. They had built  hydropower, and continue breed trout. Blacksmith with so long history is not more active, but there is little private museum of forging with old historical tools ad products. They want to continue their tradition, but also intend to open little restaurant with traditional meals.

Beauty of that isolated mountain area at Slovenian border that crosses through Čabranka river is wonderful and people who visited that place would never forget that fairy country and would  return, searching for natural beauty, peace and contentment in little things and pleasures.
