Traveling around Chile, whether I was in  Santiago, Arica, in Valparaiso or in the Atacama desert, I felt totally immersed in something far greater than myself. It's hard to describe exactly what it was. It was as if I constantly sensed something that wasn't there anymore, something unseen but still hanging in the air. Something that had been unjustly taken, violated, killed.
